The Ship Inn probably dates back to when the village was rebuilt in 1595. Dylan Thomas was a regular visitor and the Ship Inn was a favourite haunt. The Ship Inn boasts traditional bars with locally brewed beers. There is also a restaurant with fresh fish locally caught on the menu every day, alongside steaks and various other delights. Two double romms with en-suite facilities and fantastic views of the harbour and surrounding bay are available. Mousehole is siuated 1.5 miles out of Penzance.
