This traditional Cornish cottage has slate flagstone floors oak beams, and twisting staircases. Accommodation consists of one comfortable double room, with TV,tea & coffee making facilities, and plenty of books & magazines. There are also two very tiny, but dainty single rooms. Guests have their own lounge, with TV, hi-fi, video, & lots of games & reading material. The lounge, which leads directly into the back garden, has a terracotta-tiled floor and drying facilities, so walkers with muddy boots & wet clothes are well catered for! We also keep a wide range of guide books & local maps of Cornwall that guests may use. Our garden is beautiful! Old roses & honeysuckle scramble over the walls & pergola; hollyhocks, lupins & other cottage garden favourites surround lawns, and crazy paved terraces with pots of flowers & plenty of seats invite guests to relax and enjoy our country views. If it's chilly, why not sit in our Summer House (with heating & lighting), or, if it's hot weather, its always cool & shady under the trees down by our little river. We grow our own fruit & vegetables and keep hens, too.
