A wonderfully nostalgic old coastal inn nestling in a secluded cove close to the ancient Cornish fishing village of Port Isaac. All its rooms are en-suite and fitted with every modern convenience. The restaurant specialises in seafood caught and landed almost on its doorstep, and is regarded as being among the best in Cornwall, without being too formal or too expensive. All the food at the Port Gaverne is freshly prepared from local produce and the inn regularly bakes its own bread and makes its own marmalade. Here you can step outside the door and sunbathe or swim in crystal-clear waters from the small beach; or explore the North Cornwall Heritage Coast, noted for being one of the most picturesque and staggeringly beautiful stretches of our whole coastline. Personally owned and run for over 30 years, it is atmospheric, full of old-world charm, comfortable and friendly.
